Hafiz Konkoni, the current leading scorer in the betPawa Premier League, has been named the NASCO Player of the Month for April, recognizing his outstanding performances on the field.
Konkoni faced tough competition for the award, as he was among a six-man shortlist that included Sampson Eduku (Tamale City), Issah Kuka (RTU), Bassit Siedu (Accra Lions), Steven Mukwala (Asante Kotoko), and Kalo Ouattara (Berekum Chelsea).
However, Konkoni emerged as the deserving winner, thanks to his impressive goal-scoring prowess. He netted four goals in five matches played during the month of April, showcasing his exceptional skills and contributing significantly to his team, Bechem United.
In addition to his goal-scoring exploits, Konkoni was also recognized for his outstanding individual performances. He was awarded the NASCO Man of the Match once during the course of the month.
As part of the award, Konkoni will receive a 43-inch NASCO Television courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited, a fitting reward for his stellar performances on the pitch.
