Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has admitted that his team struggled to score goals in their 1-1 draw against Bofoakwa Tano on Monday.

Goal scoring has been a problem for the Phobians all season, and when Ouattara came in, they found goals to win his first two games, scoring five goals.

The Ghanaian giants had chances against the Sunyani-based side but could not convert them in the Ghana Premier League week 20 clash at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.

Speaking after the game, the Ivorian trainer said his players played well but just struggled to score against the top flight returnees.

"It’s part of the game. Sometimes you can get a draw or lose. It’s coming, but this one no problem," he told StarTimes after the game.

"For me, the boys did well, but we didn’t score. It’s important, when you are playing the game, you need the goals but we didn’t get the goals. I accept the draw."

Salifu Ibrahim opened the scoring for the home side after 24 minutes to send them into the break with the lead.

Nine minutes after the break, Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng levelled the game for the visitors to peg the Phobians back to a first draw under Ouattara.
