Published on: 24 January 2020

Great Olympics look to earn their second win of the season as they prepare to face Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Great Olympics are experiencing a steady growth this season. They have earned 4 points in their last two league fixtures, a huge improvement on the three games before that (0 points).

They do however have more to work on as they aim to avoid relegation. Oly Dade have scored the second lowest number of goals so far (3) indicating that their attack needs a huge boost. They have also conceded six goals so far (1.2 goals per game) showing the need to avoid shipping in more goals. Great Olympics are now 13th on the log and a win over Inter Allies will be a huge boost.

Inter Allies are experiencing a roller coaster campaign. They have earned just one win in five matches (W1 D1 L3), earning the 14th spot on the table. The goal tally of Tony Lokko’s side currently stands at six (1.2 goals per game) but the defence has performed far worse with eleven goals conceded (2.2 goals per game).

The upcoming tie against Olympics provides the perfect opportunity for the team to get their campaign back on track.

Great Olympics have struggled in the past against Inter Allies, winning once in their last four meetings (W1 D1 L2). Oly Dade will aim to change the narrative on Saturday.
