Ghana Premier League Week 7 Preview: Aduana vs Medeama

The biggest clash of this matchday is at hand. In-form Aduana Stars will go head-to-head with the dangerous Medeama SC. The two teams make up the top three in the league currently.

Aduana Stars have been in fine form since the start of the campaign. The Ogya boys have earned 13 points from a possible 18 and boasts of the best attack in the league so far with 10 goals scored, at least one more than anyone else. Yahaya Mohammed has been the star of the show.

He leads the goal scoring charts with six strikes. They have a solid defensive unit as well, conceding just three goals in six games (0.5 goals per game). Paul Tandoh’s men are now in 2nd place and will aim to get one over in-form side Medeama.

Medeama have also been excellent so far this season. The Mauve and Yellows have recorded 13 points after six games and are in 3rd place as a result. The Tarkwa based side have been dangerous going forward, scoring nine goals, the second highest in the competition.

They also have a solid defence, conceding just three goals after six matches (0.5 goals per game). Medeama will aim to clinch their first away win of the season.

Aduana Stars have failed to beat Medeama in their last two home games (D2). The Ogya boys have also failed to beat the Mauve and Yellows in their last five meetings overall (D3 L2).
