Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus has been given a spot on the IFFHS Men's CAF team of the year for 2022.
The Ajax youngster is the only Ghanaian player in the star-studded list of players who have excelled for both club and country in the year under review.
While most of the players starred at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Mohammed Salah who could not be at the global showpiece also made the list.
After their excellent and historic showing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Morocco have the highest number of players in the CAF team of the year.
Mohammed Kudus’ inclusion in the team of the year is a big recognition for a talented midfielder who continues to shine whenever he takes on the field.
This should be a good motivation for him in the year 2023 where he is aiming to help Ajax win trophies at the end of the ongoing season.
