Ghana star Mohammed Kudus’ magic pushes Ajax closer to Eredivisie title

Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus climbed off the bench on Saturday to set up a goal for Ajax in the impotent 1-0 victory over NEC.

The talented youngster missed out on a starting role over the weekend when his team chased three points to inch closer to the Dutch Eredivisie title.

In the 85th minute when the scoreline was barren, Ajax manager Erik ten Hag introduced Mohammed Kudus to replace Kenneth Taylor.

The Black Stars poster boy had an immediate impact as he assisted Dutch striker of Ghanaian descent Brian Brobbey to score the winning goal for the visitors.

With his magical super sub-display, Ajax is now closer to clinching the Dutch Eredivisie title.

The giants of the Netherlands have now amassed 75 points after playing 30 league matches.

Results from the next two matches could seal the league title win for Ajax should results from the other games go in the team’s favour.
