Ghana star Thomas Partey buys Spanish third-tier club Alcobendas

Ghana Star Thomas Partey has become a club owner after buying Spanish third division club Alcobendas Sport.

The Atlético Madrid ace joins three of his partners to seal the complete takeover of the club based in the capital Madrid.

The four co-owners bought the club in July and they all have equal share in the club.

The intention is to build the club with sights on playing in the upper echelons of the Spanish league system.

“I have joined three of the my advisers who are also my good friends for us to takeover Alcobendas Sport to make it one of the great clubs in Spain,” Partey told Ghanasoccernet.com

“It is an ambitious project but we have put together our plans of making it a success through a gradual proccess of growing Alcobendas Sport from the ground – up.”
