Ghana striker Kofi Nti Boakye signs for Lebanese Premier League side Al Shabab

Ghana striker Kofi Nti Boakye has signed for Leanese side Al Shebab on a long term deal.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker was unveiled by the club and could be handed his first game this weekend.

Boakye has played for several clubs in the Arabian gulf including Al Ahli from Libya, Egyptian side El Masri Makasa before moving to West Africa to play for Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah.

The former Ghana Premier League winner is the younger brother of former Ghana striker Isaac Boakye who played for German Bundesliga clubs including Wolfsburg, Mainz 05 and Nurnberg.

The 30 year old is not new to Lebanese football and would be expected to excel for the Beirut-based side, having spent almost have a decade in the Arab world.
