Ghanaian attacker Asumah Abubakar joins Swiss Super League side FC Lugano

Ghanaian attacker Asumah Abubakar has completed a sensational move to Swish Super League club FC Lugano.

The attacker who has naturalized for the Portuguese and has made appearances in the U-19 team has in the last couple of years been a hit in the Swiss Challenge League.

On the back of his stellar displays, Asumah Abubakar has now been signed by FC Lugano as he takes a giant step in his career.

“FC Lugano announce that they have signed Portuguese striker Asumah Abubakar from Ghana with a contract valid until 30.06.2023 (with option for a further season),” an official statement from the club has said today.

The 23-year-old has joined FC Lugano from Kriens where he scored 22 goals and provided 10 assists after making as many as 47 appearances for the club in the Swiss Challenge League.

Asumah Abubakar has sealed the move with high expectations and will have a big role to play at his new club.
