Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Ntim named MOTM in Valenciennes win over Caen

Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Ntim was named Man of the Match in Valenciennes FC 1-0 win over  Caen in the French Ligue 2 on Saturday.

Ntim, who lasted the entire duration of the game was the highest ranked player as he helped his side secure all three points at the Hainaut stadium.

The 24-year-old opened the scoring for the home side with a powerful header from the center of the box into the top left corner following a corner kick from Aly Abeid in the 10th minute of the game.

Valenciennes held on to seal a third home win in the league after five matches played so far this season

Ntim's goal was his first goal of the season after making four appearances for Valenciennes FC.

The win moved Valenciennes FC to 5th on the league table with nine points.
