Ghanaian defender Kevin Danso to make Southampton debut against Brighton

Ghanaian youngster Kevin Danso is set to make his Premier League debut for Southampton as they travel to the Amex Park to face Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

The 20-year-old was an unused substitute in the Saints' 2-1 defeat to Liverpool last week at the Saint Mary's.

Following the defeat, manager Ralph Hasenhüttl is expected to ring changes and will give Danso his chance against Brighton in their matchday three fixture.

The highly-rated defender started his career in England before moving to Germany to play for Augsburg.

He joined Southampton on a season-long loan from FC Augsburg in the summer transfer window, however, the English side have the option of making the deal a permanent one at the end of the season.

He made 41 appearances and scored three goals for Augsburg last term.

Danso is still eligible to represent England, Ghana, or Austria internationally. He represented Austria's U-15, U-16, U-17, U-18, and U-19 youth teams.
