The club announced Leeroy Owusu's signing via a statement on their website this Saturday, June 17.

The statemend said, "26-year-old Leeroy Owusu is the newest addition to the team, as we have entered into a three-year agreement with the Dutch-Ghanaian full-back, who has had his football upbringing at one of the world's largest academies.

"Leeroy arrived in Ådalen today and is ready when he starts training again with his new teammates on June 26.

"Welcome to Odense, Leeroy!"

Leeroy has had his everyday life in Dutch football, where he became part of the AFC Ajax academy at the age of seven, and he played there until U21.

After that, he has represented several Dutch clubs, including De Graafschap, Excelsior, and Willem II, where his contract has now expired.

In total, Leeroy has played over 300 matches in the top Dutch leagues, 99 of which are in the Eredivisie, but now he is facing new challenges in Denmark.
