Ghanaian duo Ansu and Asoma help Club Brugge seal Champions League qualification

Ghanaian youngsters Eric Appiah Ansu and Samuel Asoma climbed off the bench to feature for Club Brugge as they came from behind to draw 2-2 with Real Madrid and secure qualification to the next round of the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday.

Madrid, who went into the game as group leaders, were 2-1 up at the Versluys Arena when the two Ghanaians were introduced in the 84th minute of the game.

The duo put up an impressive display as they both helped in the build up leading to the equaliser.

Samuel Asoma has been at Club Brugge for some years now and has represented Belgium at various youth levels.

Meanwhile, Eric Appiah Ansu, who hold a Ghanaian passport is yet to be capped by either Ghana or Belgium at the various youth levels internationally.
