Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Kevin Luckassen was in fine form when UTA Arad defeated Hermannstadt in Romanian top-flight.
The 30-year-old Ghanaian forward was handed a starting role in the week 18 clash of the Super Liga on Saturday and contributed immensely to help his side secure victory.
Luckassen registered his name on the scoresheet for the home team as they cruised to a 2-0 victory at the Arena Francisc Neuman.
The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw as both teams struggled to find the back of the net in the thrilling encounter.
The Ghanaian forward shot UTA Arad into the lead in the 79th minutes after connecting from Eric Johana Omondi pass before Claudiu Micovschi sealed victory for the host eight minutes to full time.
Luckassen was subbed off in the 87th minute after playing a pivotal role to help his side secure maximum points.
He has scored two goals and provided an assist in seven games for UTA Arad this season.
