Ghana and SD Huesca forward Samuel Obeng Gyabaa is keen about the team success rather than personal glory.

The former Ghana U23 striker scored for SD Huesca on Sunday to power his outfit to a narrow win over SD Amorebieta in the Spanish La Liga 2.

The Ghanaian international lasted the entire duration as his outfit cruised to a crucial 1-0 away win over their opponent.

The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net at the Instalaciones de Lezama Campo 2.

But the Ghanaian international ensured his side secure maximum points over the host after scoring from the spot in the 60th minute mark.

Speaking after the game, Obeng Gyabaa expressed concern about the team’s success over personal glory.

"We are all very united. We trust, we suffer, but together." In fact, he downplayed the fact that he had scored the goal, speaking of "a victory for everyone."

"The way things are going, a goal from anyone to win and add three is always important. Personally I don't think about whether I'm scoring or not, but I think more about the team, about the importance of winning the three points," he said.

The 26-year-old has now scored two goals in 13 games in the Spanish second-tier league.
