Ghanaian midfielder Junior Nkrumah joins Spanish outfit Granada

Ghanaian international Junior Nkrumah has sealed his move to Spanish club Recreativo Granada, footballghana.com can report.

The talented midfielder has joined the club in a deal that sees him moving from lower-tier side Extremadura.

Nkrumah inked a deal that will end in the summer of 2023 but could also be extended by two more years if both parties reach an understanding.

“The Club Recreativo Granada has reached an agreement with the player Junior Nkrumah, who joins the team until June 2023 with the option of two more seasons with the club's first team,” a statement from the Spanish club said on Wednesday.

At his former club Extremadura, Junior Nkrumah featured in 8 matches where he managed to score 1 goal.

Having joined Granada, the midfielder will play with the junior team to ensure he continues his development.
