Ghanaian midfielder Solomon Owusu was sent off in Odds Ballklubb away defeat to Rosenborg in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

The 27-year-old started the game but could not last for the entire duration due to the red card as his outfit threw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 in the encounter.

Odd BK took the lead through Ole Midtskogen after just two minutes into the game Midtskogen after he was set up by Dennis Gjengaar.

Eight minutes later, Mikael Ingebrigsten scored to double his sides lead as they went to recess with a two goal advantage.

But a spirited performance saw Rosenborg come back from behind to secure victory at the Lerkendal Stadion on Sunday.

Norwegian forward Ole Saeter pulled one back for Rosenborg just two minutes after the interval before levelling proceedings in the 63rd minute through a spot kick.

The 27-year-old was given the marching orders in the 66th minute mark. However, Rosenborg took advantage and punished the visitors after snatching the match-winner in the 72nd minute through Ulrik Yttergård.

Former Dreams FC player Leonard Owusu lasted the entire duration of the match for Odd. He was partnering Solomon in midfield before the red card.

Solomon has made 17 appearances in the Norwegian Eliteserien this season and has delivered two assists in the process.
