Ghanaian players abroad: Antoine Semenyo scores for Bournemouth as Ernest Nuamah provides crucial Lyon assist

Ghanaian players were in action over the weekend across Europe and some had put up some thrilling performances.

Antoine Semenyo scored his fourth league goal for Bournemouth in their 2-2 draw against Newcastle United while Ernest provided a crucial assist as Lyon beat Nice 1-0 in the French Ligue 1.

Premier League round 25

Antoine Semenyo scored a brilliant goal for Bournemouth as they secured a 2-2 draw against Newcastle United, his fourth of the season.

Mohammed Kudus played the entire match for West Ham as they suffered a 2-0 loss at Nottingham Forest. Callum Hudson-Odoi scored the second for Forest.

Tariq Lamptey was subbed off after halftime as Brighton thrashed Sheffield United 5-0.

Kobbie Mainoo put in an excellent shift as Man United held on to win 2-1 at Luton Town.

Spanish LaLiga round round 25

Defender Abdul Mumin was an unused substitute for Rayo Vallecano as they held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw.

Midfielder Baba Iddrisu played 84 minutes for Almeria as they drew 1-1 against Granada, becoming the first team in LaLiga history to go 28 games without a win.

Iñaki Williams’ Athletic Club will host Girona on Monday night.

Serie A around 25

Caleb Ekuban came off the bench after 75 minutes as his Genoa side failed to hold on for the win in their 1-1 draw against Napoli, with the champions scoring in the 90th minute.

Emmanuel Gyasi was brought off after halftime for Empoli while Alfred Duncan was taken off after an hour for Fiorentina in a 1-1 draw.

Ibrahim Sulemana was an unused substitute for Cagliari as they drew 1-1 against Udinese.

Bundesliga round 22

Kassim Adams was an unused substitute for Hoffenheim as they lost 1-0 at home to Union Berlin, and he has still not played a single minute of football this season.

Jeremie Frimpong scored in back to back games as Bayer Leverkusen won 2-1 at Heidenheim and now holding an eight point lead over Bayern Munich.

Ansgar Knauff came off the bench in the 11th minute to score twice for Frankfurt as they drew 3-3 against Freiburg.

Christopher Antwi-Adjei lasted 74 minutes while Moritz-Broni Kwarteng came off the bench after 79 minutes as Bochum claimed a shock 3-2 win over Bayern Munich.

Ligue 1 round 22

Ernest Nuamah assisted the only goal as Lyon beat Nice 1-0.

Andre Ayew lasted 69 minutes for Le Havre as they lost 3-0 to Lille.

Defender Nathaniel Adjei played the entire game for Lorient as they won 3-1 against Strasbourg.

Alidu Seidu started his first Stade Rennais game in a 3-1 win over his former club Clermont Foot.

Belgium Pro League round 26

Kelvin Yeboah played the entire match while Kamal Sowah was taken off after the hour mark as their side Standard Liege lost 2-1 at Westerlo.

Christopher Bonsu Baah lasted 78 minutes for Genk as they won 3-1 against Molenbeek.
