Ghanaian players abroad: Mohammed Kudus, Inaki Williams score stunners as Jeffrey Schlupp goal guides Palace to victory

Ghanaian players in the top six leagues in Europe were in action over the weekend as the action heats up.

Mohammed Kudus and Inaki Williams scored stunning goals while Jeffrey Schlupp scored to guide Crystal Palace to victory at Burnley.

Premier League round 11

Mohammed Kudus scored an acrobatic goal for West Ham as they lost 3-2 at Brentford. He came close to a second after a stunning performance.

Jordan Ayew showed incredible hard work to set up compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp to score the opening goal for Crystal Palace in their 2-0 win at Burnley.

Antoine Semenyo came off the bench for Bournemouth as they lost 6-1 at Manchester City.

LaLiga round 12

Baba Iddrisu came off the bench after 70 minutes as Almeria lost 1-0 at Alaves.

Inaki Williams scored the winner for Athletic Club as they beat Villarreal 3-2. The goal was a stunner from the edge of the box, making it five goals this season in the league.

Abdul Mumin put a tremendous performance for Rayo Vallecano as they played out a goalless draw against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

Serie A round 12

Caleb Ekuban came off the bench after 80 minutes as Genoa lost 2-1 at Cagliari. Ibrahim Sulemana was an unused substitute for the winners.

Alfred Duncan was on the bench for Fiorentina in their 1-0 defeat to Juventus.

Bundesliga round 10

Moritz-Broni Kwarteng came off the bench for Bochum in their 2-1 win over Darmstadt, completing the most dribbles in the game (4).

Benjamin Henrichs played the entire game for Leipzig as they lost 2-0 at Mainz.

Jeremie Frimpong played the full game as Leverkusen edged Hoffenheim 3-2.

Ligue 1 round 11

Salis Abdul Samed came off the bench for Lens in their goalless draw against Lorient.

Ernest Nuamah also came off the bench for Lyon as they drew 1-1 with Metz. Benjamin Tetteh was an unused substitute for Metz.

Alidu Seidu missed Clermont Foot’s goalless draw at Strasbourg due to suspension, per reports in France.

Belgium Pro League

Isaac Nuhu lasted the entire game for Eupen as they drew 1-1 at St. Truiden.

Joseph Paintsil lasted the time game as Genk lost 3-2 to Royal Antwerp. Christopher Bonsu Baah was a second half substitute.

Kamal Sowah was taken off toward the end of the game as Standard Liege were held to a 1-1 draw by Mechelen.
