A solitary equalizer from Ghanaian international Ernest Boateng on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, powered FC STK 1904 Samorin to a 1-0 win against Jednota Sokol in the Slovakian Cup
The highly-rated teenager joined FC STK recently from feeder club of DAC 1904 for a season-long loan spell.
Though he has missed a few games in the past weeks as a result of an injury setback, Ernest Boateng returned to action yesterday when he was handed a starting role by his manager in the Slovakia domestic cup competition.
The 19-year old did not betray the trust of his coach and went on to score the only goal of the game on the 34th minute.
That strike gave FC STK 1904 Samorin a 1-0 win against Jednota Sokol as their journey in the cup competition continues.
Ernest Boateng has now made 5 appearances in all competitions for his team this season and has 1 goal and 1 assist to his name.
