Ghanaian striker Kwabena Owusu makes Qarabag FK debut in friendly defeat against Wisla Plock

Ghana international Kwabena Owusu made his Qarabag FK debut in a friendly defeat against Wisla Plock on Saturday.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Azerbaijani giants on a three-and-half-year deal from Spanish LaLiga outfit CD Leganes on Friday was handed his first start by coach Kurban Gurbanov against the Polish side Wisla Plock in he friendly encounter.

Owusu climbed off the bench in the second half to make his debut, however he couldn't do enough to prevent his side from losing 3-2 to Wisla Plock

The Ghanaian spent the first half of the season at Segunda Division side Cordoba, where he scored six goals in 17 games.

Qarabag are currently top of the Azerbaijan Premier League table with 31 points after 14 games after the first round of the season.
