Ghanaian striker Mohammed Muntari bagged a brace for Al Duhail as they defeated Al Wakrah 4-2 in the on-going 2019/20 QNB Stars League season at the Al Sadd Stadium on Sunday.
Ali Afif opened the scoring floodgate for Al Duhail in the 24th minute before Muntari doubled their lead in the 36th minute of the game.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian bagged his brace and Al Duhail’s third goal of the game in the 65th minute with a sublime finish.
The highly-rated forward lasted the entire duration of the game with a scintillating performance.
The victory lifted Al Duhail to the fourth position on the Qatar Stars table with eight points after matches played so far.
He has featured in all four games for Al Duhail in the league and scored two goals.
