Ghanaian teenager, Clinton Osei has sealed his transfer to Hungarian outfit MTK Budapest from Ghana lower division side Kowa Naso ahead of the next season.

The 18-year-old forward has shown great potential already and is taking a giant leap in his quest to reach the highest level of playing football.

With no doubt over his talent and capabilities, MTK Budapest believes Clinton Osei has what it takes to reach the top and have added him to their roster in preparation for the new season.

He has been training with the Junior side of the team for the past few weeks where he managed to convince the technical handlers of the quality he brings on board.

Clinton Osei has inked a 3-year contract that will see him playing for MTK Budapest until the summer of 2023.

According to his agent, Tony Appiah, the move to the Hungarian side is to help him enjoy regular playing time in Europe in order to continue his development.

“The major plan is for Clinton to play football regular football in Europe and MTK Budapest offer that opportunity thus securing his continuous growth and development”, the UK-based agent said in an interview with Ghanasoccernet.com.

Tony Appiah added, “Clinton is a very humble and God-fearing player with a big ambition of making it to the top of world football. This can be attained only with dedication and hard work.

“These are the qualities needed for young players to be able to thrive in the very competitive European setting and based on what we have seen on Clinton so far we are confident he will reach the top”.

Clinton Osei is expected to begin training with his teammates at MTK Budapest on Friday and will look to impress manager Michael Boris to ensure he penetrates into the first eleven of the team.
