Ghanaian youngster David Boateng on the radar of Arsenal

According to reports, Arsenal has expressed interest in Ghanaian youngster David Boateng who plays for Crystal Palace U23 in the English Professional Development League.

Unai Emery, who is the head coach of Arsenal is believed to have tasked scouts from the Emirates Stadium to monitor the 17-year-old utility player who is an expert in the middle.

Arsenal joins Italian powerhouse AC Milan who has also shown interest in signing the youngster.

The 19-year-old has suggested he is open to a move away from the Selhurst Park to experience fresh challenges.

Boateng has been a scholar at Crystal Palace over the last 7 years, playing through various youth ranks at the club.
