Ghanaian youngster Ernest Agyiri released by Manchester City

Ghanaian international, Ernest Agyiri has been released by English giants Manchester City.

The youngster joined the English Premier League side in 2015 from Right to Dream Academy after showing a lot of promise.

During the last 5 years, Ernest Agyiri who progressed through the junior teams of Manchester United has steadily developed.

Unfortunately, he has not had opportunities with the senior team. In the past 3 seasons, he has been sent out on 3 different loan spells to help his development.

Last season, he was signed on loan by Cypriot club Enosis Neon Paralimni. Despite impressing with 3 goals from 19 appearances, Manchester City has decided to sever ties with Ernest Agyiri at the end of his contract.

The 22-year-old has in the past played for Valerenge as well as AFC Tubize. It is understood that he is being wanted by a couple of clubs and is likely to sign for a team before the summer transfer window ends.
