Ghanaian striker Michael Sarpong bagged his fourth league goal of the season for Rayon Sports in their 4-1 win over Heroes FC in the on-going 2019-20 Rwanda Premier League on Sunday.
Sarpong gave the visitors the lead in the 43rd minute after a miscommunication between Heroes defenders.
But he also missed glorious chances that could make him just the second hat-trick scorer in the 2019-20 Rwanda Premier League.
Yannick Bizimana doubled the lead in the 76th minute before two goals from Oumar Sidibe and Jean Claude Iranzi in the 79th and 80th minute handed Rayon Sports the maximim points at Bugesera Stadium.
APR currently lead the table with 31 points, followed by Rayon Sports with 28, while Police (third) and Mukura (fourth) have 26 and 22 points respectively after 13 games played so far.
