The Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mark Addo has admonished the Black Meteors to give their all at the U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Speaking to the team before their departure to Egypt for a training camp on Monday, June 12, Mark Addo urged the Black Meteors players to make Ghanaians proud.

“I want to congratulate this team for what you have accomplished so far.

“If you want your names written in history this is the time. Always have the mentality that we are not going to Morocco to participate. You must go there and add your names to history,” Mark Addo told the Black Meteors.

The Ghana FA Vice President continued, “The whole country will be supporting you and will be yearning for something special from you.”

The Black Meteors have today departed Ghana for Egypt where the side will spend two weeks before moving to Morocco for the start of the 2023 CAF U23 AFCON.
