Ghana's Baba Rahman not taking Reading FC’s remaining Championship games lightly amidst relegation battle

Ghana and Reading FC defender Baba Rahman is not taking the rest of his sides English Championship games lightly as the fight against relegation continues.

Reading are currently in the relegation drop following points deduction for failing to satisfy a business plan agreed upon after breaching the EFL's Profit and Sustainability limits in the past.

The Royals are 22nd on the league standings with 41 points after 41 matches into the campaign.

With eight games to end the season, the Black Stars defender has taken to social media, declaring final in their remaining games as they seek to beat relegation.

“That was a tough result for us in a tough week but I thought I’d ask who is still awake so we channel energy and make it work for us in the remaining games. They’re finals for us all. We need you all to pull through with us. Up the Ding 🛎️ 🔵⚪️”

Baba Rahman who is on loan from Chelsea has been out of action for sometime at Reading due to an injury setback.

Since joining the club last summer, the Black Stars lefty-back has made 18 appearances in the Championship.
