Ghanaian goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has reacted to the Black Galaxies victory over Nigeria in the Championship for African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers.
The home-based national team gained an advantage in the tie by beating the Super Eagles 2-0 in the first leg at the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak duo Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Seidu Suraj scored in the second half to ensure Ghana get a resounding win.
In a post sighted by Footballghana.com, the former Ghana U-20 goalkeeper hailed the character of the Black Galaxies team after battling to beat Nigeria on home turf.
“Great character, clean Sheet with a Win unto the next game” he posted on Facebook.
Ghana has missed out in the last three editions and are close to making a return to the tournament.
The second leg of this tie comes off next Saturday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
