Ghana’s Kwadwo Asamoah awaits Cagliari debut ahead of Crotone encounter

Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah will hope to enjoy some minutes this weekend when his Cagliari Calcio side takes on Crotone in the Italian Serie A.

The former Juventus star joined the side in the January transfer window on the back of a three-month stay at home after his contract with Inter Milan was terminated on mutual grounds.

Although he has been at Cagliari for almost a month, Kwadwo Asamoah is yet to play for the new club.

He has been named for matchday squads but unfortunately, he is always an unused substitute.

With Cagliari changing managers to part ways with Di Francesco to bring in Leonardo Semplici, the Black Stars asset is hoping to see a change in upcoming matches.

Ahead of the weekend when his team will play as a guest to Crotone, Asamoah has trained well and is awaiting the chance to mark his debut for the club.
