GHS 7,500 gross earned from Kotoko, Medeama friendly match

Asante Kotoko clash with Medeama SC on Wednesday, November 14 at the Sekondi Sports Stadium clocked GHS 7,500 gross from gate proceeds.

The Porcupine Warriors as part of their preparations ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup played Medeama Sporting Club in a friendly which ended 1:1 draw.

Emmanuel Gyamfi had the opener for the Porcupine Warriors in the first half before Ibrahim Laryea had the equalizer for the Yellow and Mauves in 89th minutes.

It is revealed that GHS 7,500 gross was earned as the gate proceeds and Medeama after deduction will get forty per cent whereas Kotoko will get the sixty per cent after deduction.

The team will leave Takoradi on Thursday 15th November 2018 to continue their preparations and will also engage Togolese giant Koroki De Tchamba in an international friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday 18th November 2018.

The Kumasi based club will face the winner of the Cameroon FA Cup in the CAF Confederation Cup prelims on 28th Noveber, 2018 at the Baba Yara Sports before they travelled to Cameroon for the return leg on the following week.
