Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) is set to organize forum for Sports adminstrators in the country.
The forum will focus on the following; Branding, Marketing, Packaging planning and infrastructure.
The participants of the forum are; the Chief Executive Officer, (CEO ) of Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC), the President of Ghana Football Association (GFA), Sports Administrators in Ghana and some sporting personalities globally.
According to Yofi, "GIPC had in their plans to organize the sports forum in 2019, but unfortunately their timing and the availability of the resource persons to attend the conference were not friendly. So, they pushed it for this year. Hopefully it won't be too late as it's an election year and all the focus will be on that."
Globally, the sports industry accounts for roughly $14.3 billion in direct earnings each year, and Mr. Grant has seen an opportunity Ghanaian sports men can utilise.
"Sports is a big venture for investment but we haven't built the constructive structure to be able to channel it to corporate bodies and investors," He noted.
"The opportunity in sports is strong as the the opportunity in Tourism for investment . Almost everyone I know has an interest in some sports or the other."
"I know if we were able to do this conference, it will bring some knowledge and people will see the opportunities in sports . Some of the opportunities in sports are massive." He revealed
