Former Ghana head Coach Goran Stevanovic has revealed that Andre Ayew once told him that he was the best coach he had played under at that the senior national team level.

The Serbian tactician was in charge of the national team of the West African country between 2011 and 2012. Having led the Black Stars to the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, he was later shown the exit door after the team's exit at the semi-final stage when they lost to Zambia.

Recounting his time with the Ghana national team, Coach Goran Stevanovic has disclosed that he still has love for the team and will want to coach the team in the future.

I’m very happy to coach the black stars of Ghana, it was a big challenge in my coaching career and I must say it was a pleasure leading such a great country as a coach to the highest level(Afcon 2012)", the coach told Ashh FM.

He further shared, ”Andre Ayew once told me, coach, you are the best coach I’ve ever worked with at the national level".
