Mancheter United captain and Lionesses star Greenwood completes move to six-time European champions Lyon, they announced the capture of England international and Manchester United captain Alex Greenwood
The England international helped guide the club to a title and promotion in their debut season but will now join Europe's most dominant side lyon.
The clubs had previously announced an agreement over a fee for the 25-year-old defender, with United promising a further announcement on Twitter.
Greenwood celebrated her move on Twitter, writing: "So excited to be joining @OLfeminin the best women’s club in the world and to test myself against the best players every day. Excited for the journey ahead."
Greenwood registered four goals in 18 league games for the club, she helped guide them to the title and promotion to the Women's Super League.
She joins a side that will see her play along reigning Ballon d'Or winner Ada Hegerberg and France stars Wendie Renard, Amandine Henry and Eugenie Le Sommer.
