Footballghana.com can report that Havant & Waterlooville FC has sign Godfrey Poku to beef up their midfield in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Poku 30, joined the Hawks after leaving National League side Woking at the end of last season. He returns for his second spell at the club after joining on loan in 2015 where he scored 4 goals in 5 games.
Speaking on his return to Westleigh Park, Poku said: “I spoke to the gaffer about his intentions for the upcoming season and he’s starting a new project which he sold to me and I thought this is the right Club for me. I’ve been here before so I know what it’s about and I can’t wait to get going,”
“Godfrey is someone that I’ve admired for many years, I’ve spoken to him over the last couple of weeks and I’m delighted that he’s decided to sign,” said First Team Manager Paul Doswell.
His contract with the Hawks runs till 30th June 2022.
