Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has stated the Club is not giving up on the chase for the Premier League title, despite trailing leaders Aduana Stars with 7 points.

Accra Hearts of Oak lost to Premier League Champions Wa All Stars 2-1 at the Malik Jabir Park in the Match Day 27 crippling their title hopes.

However, the communications Director of the club Kwame Opare Addo insists, the club will only surrender when everything is over.

"We have not thrown in the towel yet because if we do that it means we are losers and our never say die mantra does not reflect that, so we have to continue to fight until the last day against Inter Allies," Opare declared on Asempa FM.

"If we get there and we know we've lost out we'll congratulate whoever has won it but once we have not gotten to that point, there is nothing like giving up."

"It is not impossible because mathematically we still have a shot at it and we'll make sure we go all the way to the end."

Hearts are still in with a slim chance of winning the title. The Accra-based club will have to win the rest of their games and hope Aduana loses their last three games.

Meanwhile, WAFA is also lurking in second place, four points behind Aduana, who beat them on Wednesday to open the lead at the top of the table.

Accra Hearts of Oak are back in Accra where they face Ebusua Dwarfs in match day 28 over the weekend.
