Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara rues missed chances in home defeat against Bibiani Goldstars

Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara was left to rue missed chances as his outfit suffered defeat against Bibiani Goldstars in matchday 24 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians suffered their second consecutive defeat in the top-flight after falling short narrowly to Goldstars at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Mawuli Wayo capitalized on a goalkeeper error in the 79th minute when Sharif Shuaib's clearance rebounded off an opponent, allowing Wayo to seize the opportunity and slot the ball into an empty net.

Ouatarra, who set the Phobians on a good footing with six games without a loss, has now suffered two straight defeats in the top-flight.

“We missed so many chances, we didn’t try to shoot, it’s part of the but this football.

“Sometimes you try your best but it doesn’t go well and unfortunately we take one goal defeat.

“In football every time we are training, we correct some things. Today we that our centre back make some mistakes and we will continue to correct.

“That counter attack the goalkeeper went to do, that’s lack of experience by him but I think in all these things we are thee to prepare the team.” Aboubakar Ouatarra told StarTimes.

With 32 points, the Phobians find themselves on the 10th position on the standings after 24 games.
