Hearts of Oak debunk reports of withdrawing from 2019 Presidents Cup

Published on: 13 August 2019

Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have denied reports the club has pulled out of the 2019 Presidents Cup against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.

Reports went rife in the local media on Tuesday that the Phobians will forfeit the anniversary game due to wrong timing.

It’s been reported that the club's supporters union, the National Chapters Committee is believed to be pushing for a withdrawal over claims the team is not prepared well enough to battle their sworn rivals.

However, Hearts have taken to twitter to debunk the false reportage.
