Hearts of Oak interim coach Edward Nii Odoom has jabbed supporters criticising his players' poor performance following their 0-0 draw with Karela United in match week 11 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

The Phobians secured a vital away point as they lie 8th on the league table with 16 points, five points adrift first-placed Ashanti Gold after 11 games played.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, the the stop-gap coach said, "With the exception of the result against Bechem United that saw us giving two goals away we have managed to put together four clean sheets so far this season.

"People will say that we make mistakes but they are part of mistakes. What we will do is to correct them and that is our job.

"I need to add that the same players people criticise are the same players who helped us keep those clean sheets."
