The communications director of Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo, has revealed that the club has not been in contact with former Ashanti Gold defender Eric Donkor.
Donkor recently left the Miners after his contract expired and has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Phobians ahead of the new season.
Addo, however, have quenched the fire surrounding those rumors whilst indicating that the club has enough cover in that position.
"Hearts of Oak have not contacted Eric Donkor for any negotiation. We have two natural left-backs in the person of Raddy Avouka, William Denkyi. Robert Addo Sowah can also play the left-back. We will go for a left-back when one of these players is out of the club," he told Pure FM.
