Hearts of Oak arrive in Ashanti Region for the second phase of pre-season

Ghana Premier League giant, Hearts of Oak have travelled to Ashanti Region for the second phase of the team’s pre-season training.

In a statement issued by the club, it says the team will use the training to prepare for the Super Cup against Asante Kotoko and the opening match of the Ghana Premier League season.

“The Accra Hearts of Oak team has pitched camp at the Ashanti Region to commence the second phase of our pre-season training program.

“The team is made up of a 50-man contingent comprising the technical team, players, the communications team and the back room staff. We have since arrived at our camps and will have our first training session this afternoon. This phase will last for a two-week period,” part of a Hearts of Oak statement reads.

It adds, “During this period, the team will prepare for the 2022 Super Cup of which we are the defending champions before going into our first premier league game against Aduana Stars at Dormaa for our first match in the 2022-23 football season.”

Coach Samuel Boadu and his charges are poised to wrap up the second phase of pre-season training with a lot of positives.
