Hearts of Oak never considered reappointing Samuel Boadu as the head coach according to reports.

The former Medeama SC was linked back to the Phobian Club following the poor start of their season.

Prior to the start of the season, Hearts of Oak appointed Dutch trainer, Martin Koopman as the head coach of the side.

However, the 67-year-old has come under pressure after going four games without a win.

Fans demanded the sacking of Koopman with multiple reports suggesting that the leadership of the club established contact with Samuel Boadu to return to the club.

However, according to reports, the hierarchy of the club never considered reappointing the former Black Satellites head coach.

Following Hearts of Oak's 3-1 win over Medeama SC and a 1-1 draw against Karela United, the club is convinced Martin Koopman has improved the side and are ready to support him and the team.

Hearts of Oak, who now sit 13th on the league log with 10 points will be hosted by Heart of Lions in an outstanding game at the Hohoe Stadium.

Meanwhile, Samuel Boadu currently works as the head coach of the lower division side, Kumasi Cornerstone FC.
