Technical Director of Hearts of Oak, Rene Hiddink has expressed his disappointment following his outfit’s elimination from the FA Cup competition.
The Phobians suffered an early setback in the Cup competition after a defeat to Nania FC at the Pobiman Complex on Wednesday.
Hearts of Oak created a lot of chances but were unable to utilize them as the game ended goalless after 90 minutes of regular time.
Nania FC, who relied mostly on counter breaks proved superior in the penalty shootout, winning 4-3.
“We must win this game. it’s very disappointing that we are out of the FA Cup but complement to our opponent. We lost but we exhibited a good performance” he told Vision 1 FM monitored by Footballghana.com.
Hearts of Oak will turn their attention to the Ghana Premier League after being booted out of the Cup competition.
