Ghanaian giant, Hearts of Oak is set to pitch camp this week to intensify pre-season training ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 football season next month.

The Phobians had a decent spell in the Ghana Premier League during the 2019/2020 campaign but was nowhere close to fighting for the ultimate prize at the time the season was suspended and subsequently canceled.

Ahead of the start of the new season, Hearts of Oak is determined to step up their performance as they remain keen on breaking that decade long wait for a Ghana Premier League title.

According to head coach Edward Nii Odoom, his team will be moving to camp this week as part of plans to wrap up pre-season training.

"We will be moving to camp to put the finishing touches to our preparation for the new season, and, we should be ready for the start of the competition", the gaffer told Hearts News.

On the opening weekend of the Ghana Premier League next month, Hearts of Oak will travel to Dormaa to take on defending champions Aduana Stars.
