Board member of Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Brimah Akambi says, the club will collapse should Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV decide to leave the club.

The leadership of the club recently came under pressure following their elimination from the CAF Confederations Cup against ASR Bamako at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Section of the club supporters descended heavily on the Board Chairman to make changes in the club administration.

However, to Alhaji Akambi, the supporters need to calm down and support the Board Chairman because if he decides to leave the club, the club will be like a cornerstone.

"If care is not taken and Togbe Afede XIV moves away from Hearts of Oak, the gospel truth is that the club will turn to Venom Vipers or Cornerstone," he told Service Radio.

"So I will urge the supporters to support the club and the board and rally behind the club in prayers," he added.

Hearts of Oak secured their first win of the season with a 2-1 win against Babiani Gold Stars in the matchday four games at the Accra Sports.

The FA Cup champions will be hosted by Kotoku Royal at the Cape Coast Stadium in the matchday five games on Saturday.
