Hearts of Oak youngster Amankwah Baafi targets Ghana Premier League title after Nsoatreman win

Hearts of Oak youngster Yaw Amankwah Baafi has targeted the Ghana Premier League title with his outfit after beating Nsoatreman FC on Sunday.

The Phobians inflicted a 2-1 win over Nsoatreman FC in matchday 26 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

David Ocloo’s side secured the three maximum points courtesy an early Nsoatreman own goal and Yaw Baafi's superb strike on 66 minutes. The visitors however pulled one back through Samuel Ofori.

The win moves the Phobians to 3rd position on the league standings, 5 points behind leaders Aduana.

After the game, Baafi, who was named the Man of the Match in the encounter disclosed his side is targeting the league title.

“It was a good win for us because we are targeting the league and we are taking it step by step so it’s a good win for us.

“My performance I will say is good because our coach initially told us to be mobile upfront and that is what we did and we got the result.” Amankwah Baafi told StarTimes.
