Ex-Ghana international, Otto Addo is having high hopes for Dortmund teenager Gio Rayna as he notes that the forward is learning very fast on the game.
The American sensation joined the Black and Yellow outfit in 2019 and managed to mark his senior debut in the German Bundesliga after excelling with the youth team.
Training under Otto Addo who is one of the coaches of Borussia Dortmund, Gio Reyna looks to have made an impression on the former club midfielder.
Speaking in an interview, the coach has revealed that the 17-year old is learning at a very fast pace.
“We’re still talking after every match. Some players, they need months to develop, to get further, to get to the next step.
“With him, if you talk with him about something, maybe it would happen the next week, but by the second week, it won’t happen again. You see a progression straight away. He’s learning very, very fast, so the process is very, very fast”, Otto Addo said as quoted by Sports Illustrated.
Just last Sunday, Gio Reyna was in action for Dortmund and scored a brace for the team in their 11-2 win against Austria Vienna.
