Hoffenheim owner Dietmar Hopp has welcomed their Champions League qualifier with Liverpool.
His financial backing transformed the club from a fifth-tier amateur side to on the brink of the Champions League, and now believes all the pressure is on Liverpool ahead of the tie.
“As we expected, we got a very heavy opponent," he told Bild. “The game against Liverpool with their coach Jurgen Klopp is, of course, something very special for us.
“I'm looking forward to seeing him again with Roberto Firmino.
“We can approach this extraordinary task without hesitation, full of self-confidence and joy.
“We have no pressure and can only win. Julian (Nagelsmann) will adjust the team optimally."
