Hull City manager Silva \'disappointed\' by performance against Spurs

Hull City manager Marco Silva expresses his disappointment at the manner of the defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the final game of the Premier League season.

Despite Marco Silva being unable to guide Hull City to safety in the Premier League, the Portuguese manager impressed at the KCOM Stadium and he would surely have wanted to end the campaign on a high in what could potentially be his last game in charge of the Tigers.

However, Hull went on to suffer a hugely disappointing 7-1 home defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday and Silva could not hide his frustration at the performance of his players during his post-match interview.

Silva said: "Of course I am disappointed. We didn't play this afternoon. We played only the first 15 minutes of the second half after we changed some things during half-time. We pressed a little bit more. We played a little bit different because in the first half we went to the pitch but we didn't play, we didn't put on the pitch the right attitude or the right commitment.

"I'm disappointed. I'm upset ... I am really disappointed because (the performance) is not like we work during the week, it is not how we prepare for the match. We didn't play this afternoon and the last game as well we did a lot of mistakes."
