Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum expressed his satisfaction with the surge in attendance from supporters during the current Ghana Premier League season.

In stark contrast to the sparse turnouts witnessed in the 2022/23 season, the stands have been alive with fervent fans, signaling a promising shift in fan engagement for the team.

In a season that began with uncertainties and a slow start, Asante Kotoko's fortunes in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League have taken a striking turn.

The Porcupine Warriors, under the guidance of Coach Prosper Ogum, have clinched two wins and a draw, showcasing a level of consistency.

"If I am to select words to describe the attitude of the fans I think I will be short of it so amazing I am so surprise about their attendance about the way when they come they support us right from the beginning of the game to the end," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"I will like to say we thank them so much and we know that they can do even more than what they are doing they should keep coming in their numbers every game both home and away especially in our home games they should come and fill the stadium.

"If you look like teams like the Ahlys, the Zamaleks, the TP Mazembes and what have you one of their weapons is the 12th player which is the fans when you go to Cairo International Stadium to play against Ahly it is always full,"
